2026 Price Adjustment
TLDR; We’re adjusting prices on all licenses effective immediately for new purchases. Existing monthly license holders will keep their current pricing through December 31, 2025, then transition to new pricing on January 1, 2026. Support & Updates renewal prices will start January 1, 2026.
We launched Blesta in 2007 with monthly licenses priced at $12.95. When we rewrote Blesta from scratch and released version 3 in 2013, we kept that same price. It’s now 2025, and that price has never changed— until now.
Over the past 12 years, we’ve made thousands of updates to Blesta, based largely on customer feedback. Many thousands of companies rely on Blesta for customer management, billing, and support, and that number continues to grow. We’ve heard from many customers that the value they receive from Blesta far exceeds the price, and due to inflation, the real cost of Blesta has actually decreased over the years. We haven’t kept pace with inflation. The Consumer Price Index shows that $12.95 in 2013 would be about $18 today. Our new pricing aligns with this reality while remaining highly competitive.
This adjustment will help us continue investing in Blesta’s future. We’re already working on significant improvements, including a completely redesigned, modern admin UI that’s coming in version 6. That and many other new and exciting updates, improvements, and integrations are planned for 2026.

For all new licenses: The new pricing is effective immediately for all new owned and monthly licenses purchased today or after.
For existing monthly license holders: Your current pricing will remain unchanged through December 31, 2025. Starting January 1, 2026, the new pricing will take effect.

Blesta 3.0: CLI Installer (video)
Whoa, it has been a busy week! If you didn’t hear, we released v3 alpha on Wednesday, which is a huge milestone. We’re excited and gearing up for the next phase, which I think will be a lot of fun.
Part of prepping for the alpha was building an installer and handling licensing. We opted to do a CLI installer for now, but you’ll have the option of installing via CLI or your browser at release. Once installed, the rest is handled in the browser — entering your license key and creating your first staff member.
