Blesta 4 on PHP7

Has anyone run into any PHP7-specific problems in v4?

Not personally we had to remove the folders which Blesta recommended as they are not required and had that plugin issue where forms don't submit but that's our issue with submitting dates to the db not Blesta itself. Have you?

Not running it on PHP7 yet.  Trying to get a feel for it before messing with it or setting up a dev install.

The only issue I had encountered was from a 3rd party plugin or extension which didn't support the ioncube encoder for php 7.  Once that was fixed everything has been smooth for me.

is one of our products, we will happy to know , we can provide a patched version of php7 if needed.

regarding the thread when we test it it was no issues, but it was a test server, and i believe only the production environment can lead you to a real issues

Nope, if it was one of your's I am sure it would have been fixed already as you guys are on top of things. It was actually an old module that I no longer needed anyways.  However due to it still being there when I tried to load the plugin page in the admin it would fail due to an incompatibility with the ioncube loader.

We only moved over to Blesta in April as soon as v4.0 was released and we put this on PHP7. We've had no issues so far, all seems to be working very well and worth the switch from an old version fo WHMCS we used to use.

For development I tried to run PHP 7.1 but IonCube does not support it.. yet. Had to recompile to 7.0. Everything works fine.
