xison Posted August 29, 2013 Report Posted August 29, 2013 I got this link in my e-mail from Linked-In, it's a few days old. Some of you may have already seen it before.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0ukYf_xvg I know this has always been one of my pet peeves. And why I downloaded so many TV shows in the past (via torrents - they fall in a grey area in Canada so it's presumed legal by many people - thats another topic, though). However, since getting Netflix and cancelling my Television Service, I've noticed I download a lot less. P.S. House of Cards, Hemlock Grove, and Orange Is The New Black were all fantastic in my book. Paul Posted August 29, 2013 Report Posted August 29, 2013 The video isn't loading for me, but if it's the one I'm thinking of that I saw a few days ago, I have to say Kevin Spacey was right on. Out of those "Netflix Original Series", I did enjoy House of Cards the most, and Kevin Spacey absolutely nailed the role. People should be able to consume media how they want, and Netflix's model is actually quite excellent. Release the whole series at once, commercial free, for a price. Of course, those of us that watch the entire series in the course of just a couple weeks have to wait a while for the next season. But, with lots of media being produced this way, there will always be something to watch. And, when people stumble upon something down the road, they can watch multiple seasons at once.. which is what I've been doing with Arrested Development, and The Walking Dead. Quote
