Password reset function is not working

Hello,

I'm using blesta 3.6.2 and password reset function is not working. My clients use email as username and when they try to reset password there is no email. I check logs but there is no entries. Any hint what can be wrong ?

Have you tried another browser and checked their account for them to ensure 1. their username is their email address and 2. Check the client mail log for a Password reset.

1. Not working with Firefox, Chrom, Safari

2. mail log is empty

 

I didn't test this function before redesign but as login form and registration from are working I don't see reason that password reset form will not work. But I'll try to test it

Well have you tried it? Did you check the username?

Reminder function is not related with design. It is not working on default template also.

From client profile username = email so everything should be working ok

Email logs for client are empty, what could be reason for that ? What is best way to troubleshoot this problem ?

Right since you haven't answered me about checking if their username is correct and that it works for yourself. Here I'll test it myself.

Checked on MacBook Chrome / Firefox / Safari == Working for us. Both email address and text username. So troubleshoot? Your web server.

One of three problems:

1. The username is not correct (double check that it is)
2. Email does not work at all (Do other emails go out, or is it just password reset ones that don't?) If no email, check email settings.
3. Clients reset at /client/login/reset/, not /admin/login/reset/
