Recurring Invoice Seems Stuck

Question

Posted

I have a couple of recurring invoices that were setup around the same time. I accidecanlly set the "Next Renew Date" to October 2017 and its was supposed to renew October 2016. Now that I have noticed this I changed that field and want these invoices to go out right now being they are several days late. No matter what I change the "Next Renew Date" to the cron is not sending the invoice out to the customer. Should I just delete and start over?

I checked the log and the cron tasks are running. Last night I set the date to today and then checked it just now but still nothing. Is there a certain time this should trigger?

The time you set in the cron settings > Settings > Company > automation

Ok yeah, something seems to be stuck because "deliver invoices" is set to every 5 minutes. I just deleted both of these and recreated them, just confirmed the cron sent them. Not sure what happened but we are good now! I will keep an eye on them moving forward.

"Deliver Invoices" and "Create Invoices" are different. The Create Invoices task actually generates the invoice, via recurring services or recurring invoices. Deliver Invoices actually sends it, as is the one that runs every 5 minutes. Create Invoices runs once per day.

I hope that makes sense and glad that it seems to be working for you now! :)
