Email piping suggestion

If you where to remove all the email piping questions and headaches on the forum board, I dont think this forum board would be so large

How about a test button next to the email department setup in the admin. "Test Account" Similar to microsoft outlook etc.

Im sure whether its pipe or pop .. its good to know the email/deparment works correctly. Not a biggy here but certainly a concern during setup. More info balloons required for all the other checks with # in the pipe file etc..:)

Not a bad suggestion. What I'd do is like how when you add a new credit card as a payment method, most processors will authorize a $1 charge on it to make sure it's valid. 

So when adding the department, just have blesta do this in the background, with no front-end gui visible. If it checks out okay, add the department. If not, show the error.
