Password Change For Kvm Doesn't Work

Hi,

 

whenever I try to change the password on VM based on KVM nothing happens. I get a response from Blesta that data was updated successfully, however in the logs I don't see any password change request. So password change for KVM based VMs doesn't work. This is very needed by our clients as we have to change their passwords manually upon request.

He's referring to SolusVM.

 

This issue is related to what was added in v3.6.1 for CORE-1875 -- a bug in SolusVM with resetting passwords for KVM. I'm not sure if they've resolved the issue on their end, but if so, we can update it in Blesta.

OP, would you care to open a ticket with SolusVM to inquire if this API command has been resolved to work with KVM for root password resets? If we can get a confirmation, I'll create a task to re-implement this.
