Change Provisioning Time To 1 Minute From 5 And Other Stuff

Question

Posted

1) I'm not sure why, but the minimum amount of time you can set the provisioning time for new accounts is 5 minutes. This poses an unnecessary issue as new clients will have to wait unnecessarily.

How can I change this?

2) Once a new account is created, and a user logs in, they see an unpaid invoice notification in their account until the account is provisioned. How do I change the text of that notification?

What I would like to do is show pending orders in the client area so they can see the status of their order. On average we're talking 2.5 minutes from the time payment arrives and an order is provisioned. If they can see that their order is about to be activated, it will help a lot.

Okay, I'll not mess with the cron job since it seems overly complex.

How about the notifications?

Where does one edit the text for the notifications in the client area?

Which notifications? Virtually all language is stored in a language file. If the language is part of a module or plugin, it would be in the language directory for that extension. Otherwise, search the files in the /language/en_us/ directory. Once you find the definition, you can change it and save the file.

So, for example, if you have an unpaid invoice there is that box that shows up in the client account center that tells you about it - is that in that same directory?
