when the staff suspend a service, is annoying for the other staff or the admin to know the suspend reason , we now working with the notes, but we prefer to ad a suspend reason box , and also include it in the email template , that way the client recieve a suspension email including the reason of suspension like "spam" , "DMCA" , "unpaid service"  ect ...

I suppose it's nice but how would Blesta know if it's suspended by the cron? For example over bandwidth or non payment.

But the cron jobs works inside Blesta ;) so you want it for manual suspensions only?

in the cronjob we add another field for suspend reason . blesta only suspend service if unpaid or if is manually suspended .

+2 for this . i have already requested this feature .

 

it would be a awesome feature to allow a reason for suspend action, that way also the module can add a suspend reason to the provisioning server that allow such feature like cpane, proxmox, virtualizor or any other software .

 

the best is to update the email template to support the suspend reason.

 

when our staff suspend a account due to some reason , we receive a lot of "why my account was suspended" . if the client receive a clear email containing the suspend reason they will take the best decision regarding this .

The service may have been suspended for the following reasons:
1. Non-payment. If your service was suspended for non-payment, you may login at http://naja7host.com/client/ to post payment and re-activate the service.
2. TOS or abuse violation.

Yep, of course we should be able to set it via the API calls as well.  Simple text field on admin would suffice.
