Invoice Due Date In Service Creation

when we create service from admin side . the invoice created has  date billed the same as the due date .

 

i think it normally should make due date 7 days more or any other setting days .

 

sorry to say again blesta v2 was this by default

Is this a feature request for a setting regarding the invoice due date when a service is created?

 

An invoice for a new service is due when it is created. Typically, services should be paid for before their service term, but that's not necessarily possible when the service is created. In some cases it wouldn't make sense to have it due any later, such as services with a term of 1 day. In this case, the service could expire before the invoice is ever due.

i don't know , but if a feature request so is good .

 

as we have a lot of client that we give him a 7/10 days to make the payment when staff activating the services for him .

 

in the actual system, in wish date the service will be suspended ?

The service would be suspended according to the setting Suspend Services Days After Due.

i need to notice staff to change the due date every time they create a services .

A plugin could probably be created to update the invoice due date on creation using the Invoices.add event, if you think that might work for you.

yes , I'm coding a plugin not just for this case , but for the cron issue and some other feature that i have not found in v3.

 

is this will not impact the auto generated invoices  ?

If you create a plugin that updates invoices from the Invoices.add event, then yes, it will also affect automatically-generated invoices.
