Blesta Addons Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 hello from v2 , it was a option in invoice edit mode showing if the line are attached to a service or not it was just a asterisk in the line end (*) . this asterisk was very helpful for staff to know if the invoice has any relation with a service , now we can't find wich invoice we should change over due date to prevent service suspension . a realm scenario , we have a service X , the system generate a invoice in their renewal date set , the client sometime order the same service for this service, the staff create a invoice with the same label and price , and we give the client some time between the two invoice, is some case the client request changing the due date , the staf can't determinate wich invoice to edit , they need to change them all now,(5/6 invoices) , and normally they can change just the one attached to the service . Line Items designated with an asterisk (*) are attached to a service. In order to detach a line item from a service you must remove that line item. sorry, v2 was wonderfull for our work just for this little tips in core activa and a.daniello 2 Quote
Blesta Addons Posted April 30, 2016 Author Report Posted April 30, 2016 is this possible with v4 ? is a simple feature , also the invoice table has a column available to att the asteriks (*) . now when a staff change the invoice , and delete the line and add a new line , the other staff can't determinate if the line is attached or not ! Paul Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Please see CORE-2190. I suggested using the fa-cog font awesome icon instead of an asterisk to indicate which items are attached to a service. I added this near the top of the backlog in the "Short Term" bucket. Please feel free to bump this during the v4 beta, we could probably add it in during the beta. activa and Michael 2 Quote
Blesta Addons Posted May 30, 2017 Author Report Posted May 30, 2017 the task has been completed in v4. in v3 we have added the asterisk but it was not sufficient , then we have changed the asterisk with the service_id and it was very helpful to identify the related service to the line . is possible to add a popup or add near to the cog the service id number . NOTE: it totally easy to add this manually by myself, but we prefer to see this in the core files . activa 1 Quote

Is the service ID helpful to see? For me, it's just a random number that doesn't tell me anything unless I click on the cog/gear. If you mean a tooltip when you hover the cog/gear icon, I could see that being useful. List additional basic details about the service? Quote
