Google Finnance Converter Not Working

using google finnance to update correncies is not working . yahoo finnance is working .

 

any one has this issue ?

It's a Google issue for some reason it doesn't work on the first time. Select Yahoo, save, update now, and then switch to Google. That's how I tell other customers too.

Did you save the currency settings before clicking the "Update Now?" link? The exchange rate processor has to be saved before it can be used.

after so many test , google finnance are not working ... is a bug

 

if you set the yahoo first and switch to google finnance , the rates are the same , a simple test .

use yahoo with Pad Exchange Rates 5% , update the rates , now switch to google, and put Pad Exchange Rates to 10% or any other number, update the rates , you will find that they are the same  old saved data .

i think this is a bug .

Have you clicked "update now"after switching from Yahoo? Padding only changes the value closer to the number so 0.99999 will show it closer to the 1.0?

It's not a bug, the API we were using just no longer works. See CORE-1108. Looks like we may are making an effort to get it resolved in v4.

Yeah, I think there were issues using Google direct at the time it was implemented. Maybe we didn't like the fact that we have to parse out the answers from HTML rather than a proper API.
