thynan Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 I want to be able to "lock pakcage cancellation" for customers, X days before the package gets renewed. In our case, we allow customers to cancel their hosting packages up to 1 month before it gets renewed. After that, they should not be allowed to cancel the package before it get's renewed. Example: Package gets renewed at 1.1.2017. The customer can cancel the package immediately/at the end of term until 30.11.2017. From 1.12 2017 to 31.12.2017, he can not cancel it before it gets renewed (he can schedule a cancellation at the end of the new perio (31.12.2017), but then the service is already renewed an has to be payed). Michael Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 +1 but this is not against customer rights ?! what if he didn't want to renew ? They cancel before the last day. In my terms and conditions we state we require 7 days notice. But people don't follow it and do it 4 days or on the day itself. It's the same with phone contracts, if you don't cancel before the renewal they automatically sign you into the new contract. I can only cancel the contract in October but if I don't on November they will renew it. Quote
