Question

We are wanting to add a server transfer addon for our services, however only way to get the option to show is to add them to matching terms. My question is would the client be charged each time for the addon. We are needing it to only do a one time charge.

Thanks for the quick reply mate.

I have gotten the addons working, but for the options in the addon they are not showing anything but the name. I am wanting the following:

Addon Name

option 1

option 2

I know there is something I am doing incorrectly. I've attached some screen shots to better explain what I am wanting.

Wanting the options in the addon to be radio buttons so the customer can only select one.

Here is what I have in the universal module for the package.

You need to use Addons not universal module for a package:

Universal Module, service_fields (what you require if needed like license Key), then go to Packages > Groups then make it an addon package, select which packages it should be  an addon for.

Then make a package and put it in the universal Module addon and then save it under the Addon group.

Then you can make a configurable option for the addon package terms.

The best way I can explain is this pretend you own a restaurant and make a burger:

- Package Group: Bun

- Package: Burger / lettuce and cheese

- Addon package: Sauce

- Configurable options: Tomato or Brown.

If you have teamviewer I can help you.

I'm unclear on exactly what your intentions are--to either create an addon service (a separate service altogether) or add fields to the Universal Module service. Both are very different. From your screenshot, I can see you attempted to perform the latter.

The reason only the names of the service options appear is because you have not defined any service option values (i.e. the radio options). Take a look at the documentation. I think you want to only have one service option line rather than two. Set the label and name field to whatever you like, the type to 'radio', and the values field to: "option1:Option 1|option2:Option 2".
