astroroxy Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 It would be nice to use blesta for SSO. This way users can have the same login for blesta as they do other modules. In my case, it would be nice to share login for multicraft. John 1 Quote
Michael Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 Not sure how you would go about it but it's do-able since another company does it, but I don't think I would use it as it's one more less security. You could do Multicraft using the Shared Login Blesta provides. Quote
Paul Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 Do you mean a link in Blesta where the client can click and be auto logged into Multicraft? (Like some other modules) I think some providers don't even provide access to the Multicraft panel because Blesta handles most tasks pretty well. This reminds me of CORE-1726 which allows for a permission based system for module management features. Quote
astroroxy Posted December 29, 2015 Author Report Posted December 29, 2015 Yes, that first option would work. I was thinking more about shared credential storage. So if a user updates their password in blesta, it would be updated in other modules too. Quote

Otherwise you run into an issue if someone updates the password outside of Blesta. Quote
Jonathan Posted January 18, 2016 Report Posted January 18, 2016 LDAP support (for staff logins) would be very handy for enterprise-level customers that use systems such as OpenLDAP/AD. Quote

Eric did one ages ago for LDAP never used it as I never got my head around why you'd need to use it: http://www.blesta.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1852-ldap-authentication-plugin/?hl=ldap Quote
