evolvewh Posted October 13, 2015 Report Posted October 13, 2015 If a client enters an email address that is not in the system, they get the message saying the email to reset the password has been sent. Naturally, people have too many different email addresses and they think they've used that adddress, so they wait for the email and never receive it. Can Blesta check to see if it is a valid email address in the system and if it's not, display a message saying 'that email address is not in our system' or something along those lines? Similar to the way you're notified if you try to login with an email address / password combo that doesn't exist. Quote
Michael Posted October 13, 2015 Report Posted October 13, 2015 Yes you can: How do I enable errors on password reset? The only issue here is you are assuming it's a email address they are using for their username, if they pick a username they can't use their email address to reset. And this way by enabling it can allow people to check who is a customer by guessing email addresses which is why it's disabled by default. evolvewh and Serendesk 2 Quote
