Squidix Web Hosting Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 This is yet another thing that I have to dig in the database to do and can't delegate to my staff. Just was reminded to post by having to do it for a client. Quote
Blesta Addons Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 this is good request ... i have this already in my TODO list of admin tools plugins .... need just time .... Quote
Paul Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 This was actually delayed because it turned into something bigger with being able to move other items like invoices and transactions and more to another client. I'd like to simplify it and focus on the most important items, which I think are services, and expand it in the future. Thoughts? Quote

If it would just move the service and ignore everything else, that would be fine. Generally you do not want to move past invoices and transactions when this is done. At most, you'd want to move current open invoices, but that's not a big deal to do manually as it varies case by case. Quote

You can move services via the services table search the client ID (ID in the url) and then change the client ID on the service ID you wish to move. Serendesk 1 Quote

I know. But I need my staff to be able to do it in the interface. Fantasma 1 Quote
Fantasma Posted August 13, 2015 Report Posted August 13, 2015 +1 as well - moving service alone is enough, doesn't have to move invoices in the initial/first release of the function, but would be nice if it could too (as an option when moving service(s), but not required) Quote
Remitur Posted December 5, 2015 Report Posted December 5, 2015 +1 When will it be possible to move services? I see it's a feature I need almost daily... having to do it working on db-tables or with some workaround... may be a nightmare! Quote
Lawrence Posted December 14, 2015 Report Posted December 14, 2015 Our company and staff are still seeking this feature. The need for this is growing each day and we're hoping this could be implemented soon. Quote
Paul Posted December 14, 2015 Report Posted December 14, 2015 Please see CORE-1996 This is perhaps the most common migration action that needs to be performed. Rather than have a single, complex migration feature, I think this will solve this issue for most people. Michael and hpno 2 Quote
