What do you mean by selecting the default tab? Do you mean if your default language is English that the English tab should be selected by default when you visit the page? What do you experience now?

Yep that mate, at the moment they select the German ones I believe it's because it's D, but the email templates opens to English.

Ok I'm confused mate haha I copied a package and the first Tab (German) was filled in with my English content, so I wonder if it's just the tabs is wrong?

 

 

Edit nope, that's not right haha the client got a blank email template.

i have experience the same issue in the past .

 

the probleme is comming from the foreach loop in the pdt file as the first element for the saved array is en_us as the de_xx is empty .

 

i have fixed it manually , but i don't test it again .

Yeah mate I copied a package and the content was in the english tab but it was in the german one, so I saved it and thought it might just be a mistake haha and then the client ordered they was missing the html section so I take it, it was because of the tab content. I just moved it to the english tabs and saved them.

Sounds like that may be a bug then. Content shouldn't be shown in a language tab unless it was written to it specifically. Is this something you can duplicate consistently? If so, can you detail a few steps for me to reproduce it myself? I've yet to experience this issue.

Thanks for the video. Interestingly, I still haven't encountered the issue with the English text appearing in the German tab for a package copy. But there is probably some other condition necessary to encounter it. CORE-1774

The OP's original request has been added to v3.6.0 in CORE-1770 and CORE-1811.
