Free $0 Package Related Questions

I am new to blesta, using a free license & the latest version available as of now.

almost everything seems to fit my requirement except for some small issues listed below:

 

I have a package which costs $0.

I have Paypal as the payment gateway.

 

But when I checkout, it redirects to the PayPal Payment website even though the amount is $0.

Paypal does not support $0 transactions and hence the service is left as pending unless i manually approve/activate.

 

I saw someone in this forum suggesting to use the offline payment module.

But that too has the same problem, it does not activate unless I activate manually.

 

Is there a solution for this?

Offline payments does activate automatically as long as the invoice is marked as paid, and from what I remember 0$ invoices will be automatically marked as paid & after the service activated; just check your setting It may be that you have set to manually activate.

What I have done is to use the offline payment (in your order form, only enable offline payment), and after that customize text for this offline payment, like "Free product only",

I checked the settings and I noticed there was a 5 minute interval.

I realized the problem was due to cron which was not configured on my localhost.
