Support Manager Upload Issue

Question

Posted

Hi,

I have run into an issue regarding file uploads through the support manager. The directory that is should upload to is writeable, but anytime a client or myself try to upload an attachment the error "The file could not be written" is returned.

Any ideas on the cause?

1. Is the upload folder writeable: Settings > System > General > Uploads.

2. is their the correct folders in the uploads folder?

-- uploads
---- 1
------ support_manager_files

3. Do you have enough PHP Upload file size etc?

Interesting, that folder was missing. All fixed now, thank you!

No problem mate, yeah it's there when the support manager is installed but if the upload folder permissions or location isn't correct or done after it gets missed.

You just need the uploads folder to have 777. the rest it doesn't matter. But you have to remember the blesta has to be on the same domain as the emails you are piping in. @domain.com emails won't pipe on another server.
