Edspaceboy19 Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 Basically a fraudster keeps registering Blesta accounts under the same IPs, using fake addresses, and stolen credit cards. He/she has registered about 7 accounts so far, under the same 79.181.****** IP. Is there a way to block this in Blesta? When I used WHMCS it was a simple "Ban IP" box and then the fraudster/scammer would usually give up. However I am not sure if Blesta has such a feature. Any assistance is greatly appreciated, as I wake up to this fraudster registering 1 or 2 accounts. Thank you, Thomas Quote
0 Joseph H Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 You can use the cPanel IP block, from what I know Is we still don't have that feature yet. Quote
0 Michael Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 Nope not yet, there was a feature thread about it. You can however ban them at server level with a Firewall known as APF or CSF Quote

But like Licensecart said, I may see about banning him at the server level. After all if he can't even browse the site, how would the fraudster keeping registering accounts . Quote
0 Paul Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 A task exists for this already, CORE-737 but it's not currently scheduled for dev so I don't have an ETA for this. I suggest blocking them at your firewall for now, it's generally more effective anyway. Michael 1 Quote
