I was just visiting here, after 6 years, is there any plan to resolve an inconsistency with the "multi-company" functionality that has always prevented the use of blesta until now. The facts: - We, as a company, have 2 business units ("Business A", and "Business B"), which offer different services, managed by the same team, but facing the clients, they are two separate businesses. - We, as a company, add one company for each business unit to the multi-company installation of blesta as a company. - We, as a company, have the need and requirement that clients subscribe to the service, using their email, therefore, we configure email as a username in blesta, which is a Blesta functionality (the email is the identity of our clients for us, they must log in with their email, not with any chosen username, not negotiable). The problem: There is a person in the world (for the purpose of the example), whose name is Jose and whose email address is jose(at)gmail.com. That person finds "Business A" and wants to sign up for the service. He registers using his email address (for his user) - his only email address, the one he uses for everything - and signs up. That person starts using the services of "Business A". Some time later, that person finds "Business B" and is interested in the service. He tries to register using his email address (for his user), and he can't! The system tells him that the address is already in use. The first thing that person thinks is: how strange, I've never used a service from "Business B". Likewise, he thinks maybe I did at some point and can't remember. Then he tries to recover the password/access to the account with his email address (the system told him that the email address is already in use, and he, being the owner of that email, could recover access). And he can't either. He can't use his own email. There is no way to register in "Business B" with his email; only because he is registered in "Business A" with that email, and they are supposed to be separate companies from the client's point of view. It is inconsistent. I have already opened the topic a few times in previous years, we have already talked about Issue CORE-5103 (which does not solve the issue, it would be a step forward, but it was never implemented or progress was made on it). Also, it is not an absolute necessity, because we are managing it with a basic home-made solution, but if by chance it is understood that it is a problem, which affects the multi-company option, taking into consideration and I have not become very old, I would like to be able to implement the system that I bought with great excitement many years ago for that purpose.
