I'd Like To Use A Gantt Chart For Projects

Hi, 

 

I'd like to set up gantt charts that I can change and edit per client while logged into Blesta. I'd like to be able to edit the names of each row and have the columns be dates. I'd also like to have my clients be able to see these as they are in progress, kind of like the way the documents section lets people see and download their documents (only without downloading). 

 

I think this is more of a plugin request. I don't know I posted this in the wrong place. But I'd really love to have this feature available.

Here is a good ready-made component which could be included fairly easily into Blesta. They operate in a dual-license mode, so you'll need the Pro version for things like Critical Path.

I really like it! I really have no idea how to incorporate it into Blesta. But it looks like a good solution. I'll probably have to pay someone to do it at some point. I do front end web design... if anyone wants to trade me, let me know!

I figured out a solution. There is a company called TeamGantt https://teamgantt.com which allows you to embed a gantt chart in a webpage. They have monthly pricing. It seems really awesome.

I don't have the funds to pay for a plugin right now, so I'm looking for any other way to do it. Trying to figure out how to embed the code on a private page or widget area for each client. That TeamGantt monthly subscription is about all I can pay right now

I meant they might be willing to do one for you and others who use Blesta for free for your custom....

I suppose it couldn't hurt to try! I'm going to give them a call this Monday and see what they say. I have another question for them anyway about one of their plans. I'll post the update here.

my promise for you , i will code a plugin that let you add html content as a widget for client . somethink like the client document . but not now , when i finish some task and module i have to do .

Looks like they're probably not going to do it any time soon, but it's great that now more people know about it!

Great news so you could use the plugin from Naja7host for a while whilst you wait for an official plugin from the guys .

Thank you to Naja7host either way!!! I'm not really expecting TeamGantt to produce that soon. I believe their only integration is with Basecamp. I wonder if any other applications have approached them for integration, and how much of an increase in users they're expecting from it.
