Daniel B Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 This is just something that I thought would be nice to have while I was testing some things out. I offer a package that is not available on monthly terms, so on the order form it is shown first (as it is the smallest package), but the price is more than the second package. While this is fine and dandy, it does sometimes lead to a client going "wait, why does the small package cost more?" because they don't realize immediately that it's a longer term. Could we add an option to allow monthly calculations into the order form for terms that are longer than a month...preferably on a package by package basis . I've created a quick mockup of what I'm talking about (mockup includes an example regarding configurable options as well to relieve a bit of possible confusion there too). Quote
Michael Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 +1 looks nice to be honest, but for 3 - 1 year packages. Quote
Daniel B Posted May 28, 2015 Author Report Posted May 28, 2015 well now that I'm finally back and things are starting to pickup for me again...figured I'd bump this to see if there is any more interest, because I'd still really love to see it Quote
serge Posted May 28, 2015 Report Posted May 28, 2015 not certain if it's part of your answer, but I found that package number at blesta (coming from every new package created - incrementation), is what blesta is using at order form for displaying your packages order, example: package number on order form they will be displayed by growing number, so the when when creating package always start from cheapper, so at order form it's will be more logical display. Daniel B Posted May 28, 2015 Author Report Posted May 28, 2015 This suggestion has nothing to do with the order of the packages...it's about adding monthly prices to all of them. Quote
Tyson Posted May 28, 2015 Report Posted May 28, 2015 What if the package only supports daily/weekly terms? Quote
Daniel B Posted May 28, 2015 Author Report Posted May 28, 2015 It could be made an option in the package itself (Show monthly price calculation?) Can do the calculation still if you want to, $10 on a weekly term is about $43.3 monthly (10x52/12) Quote
Tyson Posted May 28, 2015 Report Posted May 28, 2015 So you would be alright with showing the price, from any period, as per month, even if it were based on a day/week period? Then let's generalize it further and say that any price, from any period, can be shown per any period? e.g. Package: 3 months @ $100.00 $1.11/day $7.78/wk $33.33/mo $400.00/yr The settings necessary to display this info would still need to be determined. Daniel B Posted May 28, 2015 Author Report Posted May 28, 2015 I'd be ok with that, I think the key to that part of it is allowing it to be done with options per package, that way if you don't want a weekly package to show a monthly price you can just leave that box unchecked in the package settings. Just simple check boxes. Show per day price Show per week price Show per month price Show per quarter price etc Quote
