jimbo505 Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 Setup a client (first time) and added a New Service using the admin panel under their account. I can add all the information, but when it goes to provision, here's what I get: The connection was reset The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. The page that loads is: admin/clients/addservice/2/1/2 Now it is actually adding the client in Plesk, but the hosting type is set to 'No web hosting' And it's not updating Blesta with the Service. I'm guessing I have to set the Service Plans to match Blesta? And not sure why the connection is resetting (after 5 to 8 seconds) Quote
0 jimbo505 Posted August 23, 2014 Author Report Posted August 23, 2014 Okay, I found another post: This may be caused by1.Invalid Plesk credentials set in Blesta - It has the right credentials2.No plans exist in Plesk3.The Plesk API is not setup through your account to allow communication with Blesta It does have plans in Plesk (it did provision something, although not hosting and FTP)Showed in the logs: 1. Input - added customer information - and password 2. output ok 3. Input webspace added API - not sure how to do this, searched the interwebs and can't find anything. Quote
0 Michael Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 Weird must be something to do with the new Plesk... I don't know anything about Plesk so I'm not very helpful, hopefully the guys can help you but today is a weekend, and their office is closed, however they might pop on the forum. Quote

0 jimbo505 Posted August 25, 2014 Author Report Posted August 25, 2014 Nelsa, Looks like you have something missing? i think the screenshot you had was of the Packages section? I can see that it's not showing the packages as the image above is mine which shows, I'm using 11.5.3 After the first INPUT, you should have an OUTPUT I have the same exact input, but i do get an output but then it times out Are there instructions or a how to on setting this up with Plesk? I think mine is almost working but not sure if needs to have Plans in Plesk as well? Do they need to line up with the names? In Blesta there is a Gold Package and Plesk has a Gold Package worded exactly the same? Quote
0 Tyson Posted August 25, 2014 Report Posted August 25, 2014 You should have plans setup in Plesk. Then in Blesta, when you select a Server, an API request is made to fetch the plans from Plesk, which are then shown in the drop-down, as your screenshot shows. The names of the plans/packages don't matter. However, you may want to avoid using the default plans from Plesk. I've seen default plans fail to provision on service creation. Quote
0 jimbo505 Posted August 25, 2014 Author Report Posted August 25, 2014 Ah I have an 'unlimited plan' that was there by default. Was upgraded from version 9 I will add some new plans and see what happens and let you all know Quote
0 jimbo505 Posted August 27, 2014 Author Report Posted August 27, 2014 Okay, made a new plan in Plesk and Blesta Same thing, it provisions the service in Plesk, but does not add the service in Blesta, says 'Problem loading page' I am also getting the email confirmation at my gmail account: "A new customer account has been created." Blesta and the client are both on the same exact server. anyone have any suggestions? Quote
0 jimbo505 Posted August 27, 2014 Author Report Posted August 27, 2014 I've been trying different things and cannot get this to work. It looks liek it's trying to send data back from Plesk to Blesta and Plesk can't see it? Arghhh.. sorry, just very frustrating Quote
0 Tyson Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 What's contained in the module log in Blesta after you attempt to add the service? Quote
0 Tyson Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 The logs look like everything went through smoothly. But the service was not created in Blesta? Do you still receive one of the errors you mentioned before? The connection was resetThe connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. The process took about 8 seconds, but it may be possible your webserver's max execution time is too short, causing a timeout. Quote
0 jimbo505 Posted August 30, 2014 Author Report Posted August 30, 2014 I set the PHP: max_execution_time = 45 rebooted the VPS and just for kicks, when the 'connection was reset' I tried resending the data. It does look it up and gives the following: 1007 Client with login name 'abcre' already exists. Quote
0 jimbo505 Posted August 30, 2014 Author Report Posted August 30, 2014 I put in some more plans setup in plesk, added support dept users, update the 'uploads directory' made it writeable, added more plans in blesta so maybe I need to add invoices first then packages for a client? I just added a separate client - one with all the contact info filled out and no luck, same thing happening. About 8 seconds and Blesta crashes. I did set the PHP using Plesk and not by setting the PHP config file (think that's what it's called) Using the latest version of Blesta, no issues with install, running on VPS with about 8 clients on it. Removed all but 1 of the Plesk stock plans. I am using a sub domain: my.domain.com, DNS entry is pointing to the IP address of the VPS, Domain is added to my ISP's DNS domain is pointing to another IP, my main website is sitting on a Windows server. Thanks for all the replies so far.. hoping there's something I missed or need to do. By the way, I'm not a Linux person, but can google how to's if need be.. Quote
0 jimbo505 Posted September 13, 2014 Author Report Posted September 13, 2014 I was wondering if anyone else has any ideas to try, still having the same issue with the Plesk. It's adding the plan in Plesk, but won't add it to Blesta Should I reinstall? Quote
0 rehatiel Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Having the same issue, but with interworx.. bumped up the execution time to 256, no difference. Quote

In Blesta there is a Gold Package and Plesk has a Gold Package worded exactly the same? Well I missed your post and see it now,Yes you are right it shoud show service plans but as I said it won't load servers at all,so it doesn't show service plans at all,not even Ip address... As you see in screen S of log it only has input field, which mean it load all the time without any respond.... I tryed blesta Demo to see if this issue is on my side and it is problem on my side, because here on Blesta demo it load all servers and service plans without any issue and everything work fine.I will look closely today and try to see what is wrong,to be honest I didn't even try to resolve this issue because I don't have many Plesk linux customers(and I have built in paralels billing) and also Blesta is installed on server with free BSD and without any GUI or panel so It will be pain in the ... s to debug it but I have already few ideas... Quote
0 Nelsa Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 As I find yesterday some time I force my self to debug my issue with Plesk module, and as I tought in first place it is issue with MYSQL connection,to be exact MYSQL server close conection due longer timeout than permited. Now I know I can simple incrase max timeout but it will be last option, since I know for sure I set decent max alowed packet size and max connection timeout I woud rather to see why only Plesk module has this issue and if posible try to solve this at other way than simple incresing limits...when in same time some scripts which is known to require higher connection timeout and max alowed packet size limits work without any issue. Quote
0 jimbo505 Posted September 24, 2014 Author Report Posted September 24, 2014 I tried increasing the max limits, but alas it is still causing an issue, logs show only 8 seconds, but it is still timing out. Is there something in Blesta I can change to allow for an increased time for connections? Nelsa, did you have any luck so far? I have Blesta installed on Plesk and my clients on Plesk. What version are you running? Did you upgrade or do a fresh install? Quote
0 jimbo505 Posted September 24, 2014 Author Report Posted September 24, 2014 Okay, I'm going to do a nuke and pave (delete the account and reinstall from scratch) Going to use 3.3 for a test I will let you know what happens. Anyone with any other ideas? Quote
0 Tyson Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 Are you receiving the OP's original timeout error ("The connection was reset")? I'm not sure if this applies to Plesk or not, but some modules can perform actions without responding to Blesta. For example, Interworx might receive a request to create an account--and it will create the account-- then restart the server immediately. However, Interworx never notifies Blesta that it created the account (because it restarted immediately), thus causing a timeout. The end result is that the account exists in Interworx, but is not activated in Blesta. If that sounds like what may be happening, there could be a setting in Plesk, similar to Inteworx, which allows for graceful restarts so that an API response is sent back to Blesta before Plesk performs another action. Question
jimbo505
Setup a client (first time) and added a New Service using the admin panel under their account.
I can add all the information, but when it goes to provision, here's what I get:
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The page that loads is:
admin/clients/addservice/2/1/2
Now it is actually adding the client in Plesk, but the hosting type is set to 'No web hosting'
And it's not updating Blesta with the Service.
I'm guessing I have to set the Service Plans to match Blesta?
And not sure why the connection is resetting (after 5 to 8 seconds)
