Bit Bayou Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 In reference to http://www.blesta.com/forums/index.php?/topic/2820-email-notices/?p=20152 I'd like to see a feature that includes the PDF invoices as attachments in all email (past due) notices. This is referencing the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Invoice Notice emails. I see how I can add the total due, but I'd like to actually attach the invoices to the emails. This way, the client has zero excuse or confusion about what is due now. Daniel B and PauloV 2 Quote
Michael Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 +1 would be nice but they can get it when they log in Quote
Bit Bayou Posted June 21, 2014 Author Report Posted June 21, 2014 +1 would be nice but they can get it when they log in I ran in to the problem that a local client doesn't like logging in... but this feature would come in handy for sure! Michael 1 Quote
alexistkd Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 +1 for this not all clients like to log in to client dashboard they may dont have time to log in but to read email in their phones of course Quote
austio Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 +1. NONE of my clients log in ever, and pay either by check or via the email'ed link. I also hope that PDF Receipts can be attached and emailed automatically after a payment has been submitted through any route... Quote
Tyson Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 You may want to create a feature request for the "PDF Receipt" after payment. As for the OP's feature request to attach the invoice PDF to the notice emails, I think that would be a fairly simple addition. Blesta Addons and Daniel B 2 Quote

Daniel B Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 +1, as one of those people that would rather pay from the email than logging in, I prefer to have a pdf invoices attached Quote
Max Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Think you should do something about the pdf size of each invoice before implementing this. The -only embed the unicode characters actually used in the invoice- issue. Quote

Paul Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 You ask, you shall receive CORE-1724 TCPDF had major issues in terms of formatting and embedding the logo and image background into the PDF. Do invoices look the same if you update TCPDF in Blesta? Last time we tested this, it was a disaster. We may very well need to revisit this in the near future. Daniel B and PauloV 2 Quote

NO , a lot of old code is no longer used . i remember i have edited a lot of code to make it working , but i have abandoned the test because i have spent a lot of time and i have not success to make the invoice look like the actual one, but the PDF size was ok . if i get time i will revive the test again Quote
Tyson Posted September 24, 2015 Report Posted September 24, 2015 The OP's request for invoice PDFs to be attached to the invoice reminder/late notice emails will be in v3.6.0 (CORE-1724). Blesta Addons 1 Quote
