Blesta Addons Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 i have noticed that the imported clients from v2.5 , theyhave Clients id Different from thier id , for exemple Client ID 3615 , has the ID 2087 ( the profile client viewed in the url admin/clients/view/2087/ ) also the ID is not incremented ; exemple 3615 -- 2087 3614 -- 2086 3613 -- 2085 3612 -- 1980 3611 -- 2084 3610 -- 2083 the first case , what i have observed , is that blesta ad the ID from 1 and increment it , normally that should begin from the first client ID . the second issue , i have not found any result , may be this is has related to a previos fussion client ( but thos client was not fussioned !! )
Michael Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 It depends really. Client ID in Blesta is a number URL ID in Blesta is the id row Eg: My client 1673 has url ID: /clients/view/619/

I suppose but I did import my old brand from Blesta 2.5 to 3.0 WHM** 5.2 --> Blesta 2.5 then from 2.5 (Fixed packages etc) --> Imported to 3.0.0.b7 --> upgraded to 3.1.x --> upgraded to 3.2.x
Blesta Addons Posted June 11, 2014 Author Report Posted June 11, 2014 so you have the same case as me , imported clients have a different client id and ID .
Michael Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 I think it's supposed to be like this in 3.0 though.
Blesta Addons Posted June 11, 2014 Author Report Posted June 11, 2014 yes , because in a fresh install the client id will be 1 and the ID will b 1 . and all will begin from 1 . for that i suppose it's a bug in importer . the correct way is to be the client_id = ID .
Tyson Posted August 25, 2014 Report Posted August 25, 2014 Closing thread as not a bug. Blesta doesn't maintain identical client IDs between v2.5 and v3.0 because of the updated design. Michael 1
