Echelon Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 Hey, An idea that I came across that would be quite useful for preventing automated robots and spam drones from submitting spam tickets would be to create an option to enable human verification at time of ticket submission. This would reduce the number of spam tickets tenfold by preventing them from being able to submit without verifying the captcha. Thanks. PauloV and Michael 2 Quote
Michael Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 +1, unless they are by email as that would be impossible Quote
Purevoltage Posted March 17, 2014 Report Posted March 17, 2014 Yes this would be a great option for anyone filling out a ticket on the site. Having an option to not need this step if they are a registered client however so customers don't have to do it or possibly set permission per group would be better. Michael 1 Quote
Paul Posted March 18, 2014 Report Posted March 18, 2014 The order system supports recaptcha and areyouhuman. Do you think both of these options should be available? It may make sense for us to move various human verification settings into the core, where plugins can take advantage of them. This way, you wouldn't have to provide account details in two places if you want recaptcha for both order and support. Daniel B 1 Quote

You know on the order form you get the option for the recaptcha, maybe in the general settings - [ ] Require recaptcha on support system if not logged in. eunger9 1 Quote

Theirs already three plugins that can take advantage of it. Order system Client registration Tickets Password reset I think their are several places it could be used if it were in the core. Quote
Echelon Posted April 13, 2014 Author Report Posted April 13, 2014 Agreed. Should be something that should take advantage of the 'DRY' principle, and avoid reinventing the wheel per plugin. Quote
Paul Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 Centralizing human verification options to company settings has been assigned CORE-1134. Adding human verification to support tickets will depend on completion of this task. domaingood, PauloV and Michael 3 Quote
wfitg Posted August 9, 2014 Report Posted August 9, 2014 +1 Is that a module in /helpers ? How is it implemented? Quote
Michael Posted August 9, 2014 Report Posted August 9, 2014 +1 Is that a module in /helpers ? How is it implemented? It's currently under Billing > Order forms > Settings. In 3.3 they will have it's own centralized settings which will work on Support Manager / Order / etc. wfitg 1 Quote
wfitg Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 Ok thanks! But it is under 'packages' - 'order forms' - 'settings' Michael 1 Quote
wfitg Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 For those interested: Goto http://portal.areyouahuman.com/login/ It is a painless signup process. In your dashboard there will the the keys you need to use AreYouHuman in Blesta. In Blesta Goto: 'packages' - 'order forms' - 'settings' Copy/Paste the respective keys and save. Done. NOTE: I added it to the "registration" order form but it does not show up. Our Platform is not listed at AreYouHuman. I had to select "not listed" in the drop down list. Maybe someone from Blesta can look further in to this and have the folks at AreYouHuman add our platform to the list? Quote

wfitg Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 Sorry about that half asleep haha. No worries Your suggetion put me on the right trail to find it. Nonetheless, i could not get it to work. I entered the keys they provide in the AreYouHuman control panel, but the catpcha does not show up on the Blesta registration form --or anywhere for that matter. Quote

interfasys Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 And it's for 3.4 in December, not 3.3 Quote
wfitg Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 I did, and i watched the video at your link. I re-checked the settings in Blesta, and I even deleted the keys and re-pasted them. Still not working. When I click the register button at the bottom of the form it only shows a password error at the top because I did not fill out the form. So I registered a dummy account and it still did not work. I used AreYouHuman request form to have them add Blesta to their list. Not sure how much weight that will have with them, though. Quote

Make sure that "human verification" is checked on the order form. This could be easily overlooked if you first created the order form and then added the "Are You Human" feature days or weeks latter. This must be done to each order form that you want the "areyouhuman" "human verification" feature to work. Quote
