All Links In Admin Redirecting To Index.php

Question

Posted

For some reason when I uploaded the files before I installed, the .htaccess file got uploaded with 0 bytes.  I noticed everything had the index.php still in the url so I reuploaded the htaccess and now links work without index.php in them.

However, all of the links in the admin panel seems to have the index.php in them, so whenever you click on them...all of them take you to the portal page.  Is there a setting somewhere I can't find...probably a really simple fix but I just woke up :).

Hey :) Good to see you again, it's been a while...hoping to get back involved with the community again finally...been a crazy few months!

I'm running this on a shared server (starting to wish I got a vps instead...) just to separate my billing from my main servers.  I can't enable PHPIDS myself, and it's not showing up on a phpinfo page so I'm assuming it's not installed.

Nice to see you again too mate, and sorry for the confusing it's a Blesta plugin mate :).

Sometimes if you set it off it takes you to the portal page, so that was why it's my first check :D.

that fixed it, thanks :D  I knew it would be simple! lol

now I just gotta get my cron working...I forgot how "fun" shared hosting can be at times...(and they fixed it while I was posting this...lol :))

Great news, yeah Blesta only cache's the nav, so you've just re-cached it. Good to see your ready to roll mate :D.

Alternatively, you could have gone to [settings] -> [system] -> [staff] -> [staff Groups], clicked to edit your staff group, and re-saved the settings in order to clear the cache.

[Tools] -> [Clear Nav Cache], would be a much more obvious solution :).../featurerequest

Yes it's wise to clear any cache after upgrading to ensure your being displayed new content rather than anything stale.

I think Blesta need's to add a small piece to there upgrade documentation to make aware of flushing the cache after applying an upgrade.
