adamjedgar Posted March 18, 2019 Report Posted March 18, 2019 "Hi guys, how do we charge our clients for merchant fees attributed to paypal? According to paypal this is ok to do ...https://www.paypal.com/au/smarthelp/article/can-i-surcharge-paypal-payments-faq3580 The caveat being..."Any surcharge you apply may only be expressed as a percentage of the sale total, not a fixed dollar amount." In light of that, how do we apply such a surcharge by percentage in Blesta? If not in Blesta, can this be applied when the client is taken to paypal to complete the transaction? Quote
Paul Cousins Posted April 15, 2019 Report Posted April 15, 2019 I would also like an answer to this question? Quote
Michael Kinder Posted April 16, 2019 Report Posted April 16, 2019 A simple fix you could implement (I used to do this) is to setup a tax at a set percentage that will be sufficient to cover the PayPal fees and then once they pay, the fees will be taken from the total amount and you'll be left with the actual amount for the service. activa 1 Quote
