juju Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 G'day guys Just trying to determine if Blesta automatically manages customer accounts on a cpanel server? and has customer level cpanel config natively integrated with Blesta's client gui? I see a reference to cpanel configuration in the docs, does that mean it integrates with a cpanel server's account management seamlessly? I also see a reference to ModulesGarden cPanel Extended, with good feedback about it, even some screen shots (http://www.blesta.com/forums/index.php?/topic/826-cpanel-extended-for-blesta/), but that's not on their site any more! Has it been withdrawn? Is it included in Blesta's core instead? I'm a bit confused, Cheers Quote

I'm a bit confused, Cheers Yes the cPanel module on Blesta uses all ready made packages and you can update to another product at any time. Customers can log in via the client area, see their login information and also see the statistics. Now the ModulesGarden module you get more selections like overwriting the package information, like other billing system, change diskspace / emails / etc. It's not included in the core as you have to pay for it. I will contact them for you as I too can't see it because it re-directs to the index. They also removed other billing system's / CMS's they did as-well and kept just one billing system. Their announcement was: http://www.forum.modulesgarden.com/news-announcements/cpanel-extended-for-blesta-released-10-09-2013-t1967/ I will update here when I get more information for you. Quote
0 juju Posted October 11, 2013 Author Report Posted October 11, 2013 G'day mate, thanks for getting back to me, will look for your follow up re the MG cPanel module... The online demo seems to be falling over in a couple of areas: domain check always responding with unavailable, and cpanel packages not showing up in the package creation page Are they current issues or has the demo just been knocked around a bit? Also, in the package creation, is there a way to create a hosting package that also requires the user to register, transfer or nominate self-managed a domain? Like WHMCS and ClientExec seem to be able to? Cheers Quote
0 Michael Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 G'day mate, thanks for getting back to me, will look for your follow up re the MG cPanel module... No problem, I'm just waiting a reply from Piotr. The online demo seems to be falling over in a couple of areas: domain check always responding with unavailable, and Is that the namecheap or Logicboxes module? cpanel packages not showing up in the package creation page they only show up on the dropdown menu when you've selected cPanel module when making a package. Are they current issues or has the demo just been knocked around a bit? Demo.blesta.com? Is that on version 3.0.3 or version 3.0.4? Also, in the package creation, is there a way to create a hosting package that also requires the user to register, transfer or nominate self-managed a domain? Like WHMCS and ClientExec seem to be able to? Cheers Yes you need to use the domain and other order form, and select the packages (move them to the right), they will be asked to pick a domain first though. Quote
0 juju Posted October 11, 2013 Author Report Posted October 11, 2013 Is that the namecheap or Logicboxes module? I'm not sure to be honest, it was just the default order form that came up in the demo... http://demo.blesta.com/plugin/order/main/preconfig/Servicess they only show up on the dropdown menu when you've selected cPanel module when making a package. Yeah I selected the cpanel module but the packages dropdown in the next section turned up empty.. http://demo.blesta.com/admin/packages/edit/17/ Demo.blesta.com? Is that on version 3.0.3 or version 3.0.4? says "Installed Version 3.0.2" on the footer Yes you need to use the domain and other order form, and select the packages (move them to the right), they will be asked to pick a domain first though. I've seen another example of the domain and other there, but that's the one that's failing the domain name check... i'll deploy a demo and have a play. cheers Quote
