Just a little bug that may be fixed with one of the next updates. I think you accidentally swap inclusive and exclusive the in the tax setup.

Inclusive will display the tax seperately and not included in the total. 
Exclusive will display the tax as part of the total.

Thanks for the report. Where in the system are you observing tax displayed in the total as opposed to not in the total depending on your tax inclusive/exclusive setting?
