Problem With Domain Search

Hi All

 

I just did the upgrade to version 3.0.3 and everything seemed to go ok.

Upgraded the plugins etc..

Then when checking the system i came across a problem with the Domain Check form.

When you search for a domain it tells you it's not available but shows the buy selected section.

also as you see i checked for blesta.com. and same results

I uninstalled the namecheap module and re-installed it.

Still getting the same error. Even when i check for a domain i know is available it tells me it's not but still shows it's available in the the order selected section.

Any help would be appreciated

I know it's like the sandbox is getting mixed up somehow with the live function.

it won't let me get passed that point even when i know a domain is available

Well it's morning

Checked everything again, re-installed modules and plugins but the same error persists.

The only other thing left to do is a fresh install, but i don't want to go down that route just yet.

I don't want to have to do a clean install everytime an update comes out.

Mine also works the same as Cubics, the only way I can make mine say it's available is by pressing transfer, but even then I get a different message than you.

Have you changed the code for the buttons at all?

No i haven't changed any code at all, only changed css styles.

I have been trying all day to find the problem but no luck.

Been intouch with my hosting company and they are having problems with my server so waiting to see if that is the cause of the problem.

Which module are you using mate? Namecheap? It could be a issue with that, as I use Logicboxes.

I've bit the bullet and in the middle of re-installing blesta

which i was trying to avoid.

Ok mate, after can you tell us what you find please, maybe it's the module and the guys will be able to check this for you.

Still having the same problem after re-installing Blesta.

But it will have to wait now till i come back in two weeks... Off on my holidays

Have a nice holiday mate, sounds like a bug or a server issue but I don't have a namecheap account to test it myself to confirm .

I have the same issue with the namecheap module. When I try to check a domain availability, it sais, It is not available. When I hit transfer, It's all good.

Can you guys check that module? Thanks

Anyone can transfer a domain with a EPP code so if it showed up as unavailable you wont be able to transfer.

Thanks, the problem is that any domain that I check is unavailable. Also, we do not charge for transfer, how can I set this up?

You can't yet mate and don't you get charged for transferring a domain over?

I am also having this issue with doing any domain searches and it shows as not available even though I can go to the namecheap site and do the search for the domain and it is available.
