Built-in Server Status

Hello,

What about adding a simple server status in client area? It will be better to have it as a built-in feature, and even the competitor has it.

Big feature. Would need to look into it in more detail.. not sure how good the competition has implemented this, server monitoring can be very complex. I almost prefer integration with a full-fledged service, with widget in Blesta that shows server status.

Not really necessary to be complex, the simpler one would be to ping the server simply. You can add in settings to add what to monitor etc, so we will be able to add up website address or IP to monitor. And yes, it must be with the widget. Some features such as email on downtime would be really perfect since most people use Uptime Monitor,, so they would not have to use them since Blesta would do the work for them. If you wanna make more complex and better than competitiors, then adding stats, graphs to show up time will be perfect, and so goes for weekly, monthly uptime.

I think blesta has bigger things than the fine tuning like server statistics at the moment such as domain management etc. Blesta is developer friendly and open 99.9 for a reason, with such a great platform they allow you and others to create custom solutions so that the blesta experience can be enhanced even further. Plugins and modules don't effect core files so on upgrade nothing needs replaced. Eventually I'm sure blesta will impliment a beautiful widget to display graphs etc but development is time and money. I just ask you to keep a more open minded approach.

well then they'll have one when they have time as Paul said it's a big project to do a built in one which has advance features when people are moaning about a new domain manager and other things. Can't have everything at once.
