hostingDifferent-Scott Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 If there is, I can't figure it out. I want there to be a choice when someone is purchasing a hosting package to purchase a domain if they don't already have one. Is there a way to do this without placing a completely separate order for a domain? Quote

0 hostingDifferent-Scott Posted September 15, 2013 Author Report Posted September 15, 2013 That's what I was afraid of. Many of the clients I cater to don't know that much and wouldn't know to order a domain first. It should be a conditional question in the hosting order form. Alex 1 Quote

0 hostingDifferent-Scott Posted September 15, 2013 Author Report Posted September 15, 2013 Hopefully they'll see this. It's seems overly cumbersome to have to make multiple orders for an add-on item. Michael and Alex 2 Quote

It needs to be as easy and intuitive as possible. Alex 1 Quote

0 hostingDifferent-Scott Posted September 16, 2013 Author Report Posted September 16, 2013 I'm hoping they'll add this functionality soon. I've already abandoned WHMCS, didn't think about this until now. And now it's a problem. Alex 1 Quote
0 Alex Posted September 16, 2013 Report Posted September 16, 2013 I agree, this needs to happen. I want a client to have the option to purchase a domain or use an existing domain when they purchase a hosting package. In my case I want purchased domains to be ordered through the LogicBoxes module. Quote
0 hostingDifferent-Scott Posted September 17, 2013 Author Report Posted September 17, 2013 Ditto above. I also use logicboxes. Quote
0 Alex Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 I think this issue relates to the larger issue of Add-Ons being basically useless in the order process. It's certainly the biggest issue with my deployment. Hopefully it will be resolved with the 3.1 configurable options update. Quote

0 swerlo Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 This is very necessary and I'm very disappointed it isn't there already. It's a core feature and I'm trying to configure my packages but the absence of adding the domain to other services during the purchasing process creates a lot of trouble. Can developers answer when will this be added? Quote
