Installing Blesta

Having a few problems installing Blesta.

 

According to the install script:

 

The curl extension with a minimum version of 7.10.5 is required. Your version: FAIL

 

Checking my Machine:

 

Dedicated VM, Ubuntu 12.04 php 5.4.

Curl version 7.22.0

 

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Some reason Blesta's not dectecting it. Try uploading this to a folder: Check Blesta See what version Blesta can detect on that.

 

You might want to update the CURL version as I have 7.24 which is higher than your 7.22.

Suhosin isn't required, so that's fine, does it find the GD formats mate? and yes it seems it can't detect the CURL. Which is the issue. You'll need the devs help as I've never installed Blesta on Ubuntu before. Sorry. It's 5am in California where the guys are from.

Yup, everything validates except for the mysterious curl.

Is there a way to un-install it safely and re-install it mate?

That's easy enough as I've been testing on a clean build VM all morning.

Just wondered if re-installing curl wouldn't effect anything else on your server. But if it's possible it would be a good way to try before the devs can help. If that solves it, you'll be back on the road .

Could certainly give that a go, I'm running a throw-away VM just for trying out Blesta.

Now just to find where to enter the license code, I'd left it out in case that was the problem.

If it's V3: /admin/settings/system/general/license/ and you need to include the start of the key( monthly- or owned- ) as-well.

Mike, just FYI the verify Blesta script is for v2 and will not be a completely accurate picture for compatibility with v3, though many of the requirements are the same.
