Michael Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 Just wondering if this would be a nice addon for Blesta, you know when you click a product to order you can configure it, you see all the addons below it and a cart on the right where you can see the price. I was thinking maybe it would be cool to have it Ajax. So if I click a product the subtotal will say the price of that product. eg: $8.50 Then if I clicked on Yearly that would automatically change to $93.50 If I clicked on Monthly again it goes back to $8.50. When I click on a Addon for $20.00 the subtotal says $28.50 If I click on another Addon for $90.00 it will change the subtotal to $118.50. Now if I add a promotion code "BlestaIntegrationFree" For example which removes the price for that addon it deducts the amount and shows the following: Subtotal: $118.50 Setup Fee: $0.00 Discount: $-20.00 Total Due: $98.50 But this happens in a click of a button. Without waiting to go to the checkout page. Just a idea I had. Abhineet and Blesta Addons 2 Quote
evolvewh Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 I like the idea of less page loads. Quote
Michael Posted September 12, 2013 Author Report Posted September 12, 2013 I like the idea of less page loads. oh same pages just you can see the total before getting to the checkout page and doing the configs to add them to the cart. Quote
Paul Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 Essentially you want everything to happen on the same page right? Quote

MemoryX2 Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 I would love to see a better cart system! I like the ajax idea, but I really like the way other industries do this also. When I want to order something, going through Blesta is confusing. I mean I'm the one selling the product and it's confusing. I've never had any trouble buying something from Amazon, their order process is not confusing at all. I realize that they are selling something totally different but I think their is a lot of room for improvement in the ordering system. I actually like the way IP does their ordering, it seems pretty clear. Step 1: Pick license type, https://www.invisionpower.com/pricing Step 2: If license pick what products you want and how many users, easy, http://www.invisionpower.com/buy Step 3: Information / login https://www.invisionpower.com/clients/index.php?app=nexus&module=payments§ion=pay&id=504940 Step 4: Pay It's just easy, super simple, and their layout looks awesome! Michael Posted March 12, 2014 Author Report Posted March 12, 2014 yeah that total system is what I would like to see Ajax so it update on what you select. Quote
