Am I the only one too stupid to understand how to configure DKIM and SPF?
Every time i think I have this configured correctly one of the "BiG" email providers like Hotmail/Outlook/Google changes the rules of the game.
Here is a bounce:
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
user@hotmail.com
SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data:
host mx3.hotmail.com [207.46.8.167]: 550 5.7.0 (BAY004-MC5F5) Message could not be delivered. Please ensure the message is RFC 5322 compliant.
What can be done server-side to make the users' default DKIM and SPF work correctly? None of the users know or understand what these are. They only know how to go to cPanel and enable them.In my case they are sending and receiving from their 'domain.com. But they are actually sending and receiving from the WHM's mail server.
Anyone have experience with this annoyong topic?
