Choosing Cpanel Username At Registration
Michael replied to john5788's question in Pre-Sales Questions
Ah never tried the core then I went to your site to test... so your fault if it is by default -
ah, how would we make a folder in the cache though?
-
Oh you don't mean packages but config options.
-
Sorry I can't help you any more as I use Unix and never used IIS, I know you can use it on Windows but then you are dong something different so the guys will need to help you .
-
Sounds like a good idea but that would move the settings to the order form settings probably and two boxes. [x] Allow to upgrade [x] Allow to downgrade.

Choosing Cpanel Username At Registration
Michael replied to john5788's question in Pre-Sales Questions
You could edit the module to do it not sure how myself without looking into it fully but you could open a feature request to allow the buyers to set a username if they wish. -
Do you have configurable options on WHMCS, if you do have you made the tweaks to the importer for them. You can find out more at: https://licensecart.com/whmcs-blesta

Is there a way to use the Blesta's built in cache for plugins?
-
Eric did one ages ago for LDAP never used it as I never got my head around why you'd need to use it: http://www.blesta.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1852-ldap-authentication-plugin/?hl=ldap

If you have Blesta installed in the "Blesta" folder the ROOT is /home/username/public_html/ or /home/username/public_html/my/ but I've never used Windows so I'm not sure on your root URL fully just using Unix as an example.
-
Have you got the correct root url in the settings? Is the cron job linking to the correct url?
-
If people don't respect me for stating the truth that's up to them. I don't give a rat's ass what people think of me or my opinions. It's a free country and I believe they are idiots and others think so too. They claim to take security seriously and they had the worse security holes in 2013, they are still finding security holes with new addons like the Kayako single sign in whatever. They are pathetic and people know it. Don't agree with me that's fair enough.

No database version this is nothing to do with mysql this is the database version for Blesta.
-
The version number goes by one of the licensing files. Can you tell us what the DB version is? The database > Settings table > database_version value
-
In your database, look at this table: plugin_actions find: nav_primary_client change the url to something like support.php and then make that file in your Blesta installation and re-direct it. Also +1 this feature request if you wish to make life easier: http://www.blesta.com/forums/index.php?/topic/4923-allow-navigation-links-to-support-external-urls/?hl=links otherwise our BlestaCMS allows you to make your own menu.
-
It does import 6.*, the only time the importer won't support WHMCS is when the idiots over there change the database structure or password hash. You can even follow our tutorial on https://licensecart.com/whmcs-blesta it's as simple as 1, 2, 3 & 4.
-
You can use third party shared login, there's one if you search on wordpress for one, never used it because using Wordpress is just asking for trouble (Security wise) it's a competitor Blesta [WH**] for blogs and I hope you don't have it on the same account as Blesta.

Why would you want to show someone a department to click it to find an error? (Me as a customer): I want to get support -clicks department- What the F*CK I can't open a ticket but it's right there.... phones up your number "Why THE F*CK can't I open a ticket?" It's up to you but you'd have to hack the support_manager plugin to try and get it to work because it's pointless. Either hide it and open a ticket for them if you need to, or show and let them open a ticket.
-
You can make a hidden department.
-
rename your theme folder from the bootstrap, change the name in the config.json and only copy what you need when upgrading. First thing you should do, download update, remove files you have customised and then upload the files.

WHMCS importer is under Plugins > Available > Import Manager, then click Manage and then 5.2. More information here: https://docs.blesta.com/display/user/Migrating+to+Blesta We made a easy to follow tutorial here: https://licensecart.com/whmcs-blesta If you are doing it manually, you need to create the packages: Packages > Add (You'll need the modules set-up first) After the packages, you need to make the clients: click Clients > Add client, fill in the information from ClientExec client page. Then click on Add services, select the package, and un-tick use module, and save. Then click Manage, under Actions select Change renewal date, and set the new renewal date. You can import every invoice we recommend just the open unpaid invoices.
-
You have to do it manually, or if WHMCS has a importer for ClientExec you can import to that, and then WHMCS -> Blesta. We've imported manually from their old version for a customer, but nowadays it would be expensive for us to do it as we charge per hour, took about 3-4 hours can't fully remember, the longest manual import was BoxBilling which took 3 full days.
-
It is "Cron" and it means you haven't set-up the cron job Settings > System > Automation > you need that command, and depending if you use Linux on it's own, or use a control panel the way you do it varies. cPanel you use /usr/local/bin/php InterWorx you keep it the same. And some others have other changes.

You have to set-up the currency in Settings > Company > Currencies. You then either have to set the currency up on the packages so they have both, or go to the Currency settings on the same section as above and change it so the currency can be converted and chosen by the customer like so: Then you have to enable it on the order forms: Packages > Order forms > Name: Edit > bottom tick the currency box.
