I'm personally fine with it as it is, but it did take me a bit of thinking as I've not seen the dropdown live except a preview I forgot about lol. But +1 for the buttons if it's better for others.
Nope, that's coming in the new Domains plugin, Paulov is making a module I believe he said, which I believe confused a few people as he said it was the domain plugin.
On the manage page you see Status > Active.
On that you get 3 options: Upgrade / Downgrade | Change Tier | Cancel (Depending on what you've enabled)

You must go to: Settings > Company > Billing / Payment > Invoice and Charge Options
And tick any of the following boxes:
- Allow Clients to Cancel Services
- Allow Clients to Change Service Terms
- Allow Clients to Change Service Package
Would there be a way to have a option work if the credit matches the invoice amount? But if it isn't going to cover the full amount they'd have to select an option above as-well as the credit box.
Because that's confusing to the customer and us, as Paul informed me that it would be best to disable the automatically apply credits to invoice if we was allowing the customers to use the credit as they want?
When you are placing an order and click on a Addon, it adds the price to the sub-total but doesn't display the item. However it does show it on the next step: configuration settings
