Cancel Orders That Are **days Old Automatically
interfasys replied to domaingood's topic in Feature Requests
Even if I'm not likely to use that, I think it makes sense for people selling everything they can 24/7. People change their mind when they haven't already paid for something. -
Gave it a go again with my old 5.2 install and it still fails to import domains with an order_id set to 0. The Hostbill importer is going to have the same problem... I'm guessing Blesta is trying to be thorough and wants full tracability, but it's going to be difficult since those 2 systems were able to import domains without linking them to an order_id.

Does Paypal Create A Payment Account In The Client's Account?
interfasys replied to interfasys's question in Support
OK, so the menu item, page and dashboard notification should be hidden/disabled if no merchant gateways are used. It makes no sense for a customer to click on the menu item, to be told he has not payment account, to be offered to add one, only to be shown a message telling him that this feature has been disabled. That's just poor usability imho. -
Does Paypal Create A Payment Account In The Client's Account?

OK, then usability needs to be improved. It makes no sense to present options the client can't use. -
Does Paypal Create A Payment Account In The Client's Account?
interfasys posted a question in Support
By default, the system shows credit card and ACH. Does the Paypal gateway automatically add a payment account in the list so that the customer can use it to pay for his invoices? -
And it's not just languages which are affected, custom routes disappear as well.

Sha256 File Signatures For Blesta Releases
interfasys replied to interfasys's topic in Feature Requests
If their system has been compromised, then you're done for. Files could have been modified through Blesta, FTP, PHP exploit, etc. and you wouldn't know. It's just common practice to offer at least MD5 sigs. -
It would be great if file signatures could be posted somewhere so that we know we're getting the real thing. Nothing worse than leaks in a billing software. Preferred format would be SHA256.

? There is no special code, got to "Client Custom Fields" add a custom field for a client group. Choose the Drop Down type, type the key in the "Option Name" field and add the key to your _custom.php. The dropdown always shows the key instead of the translated text.

How is it not a bug if we lose everything after an update?
-
I like it as well. Works well for the admin area.
-
Not sure if I have to do something different, but I've defined my key as usual, but the elements in the dropdown always show the key, not the translated text. $lang['_CustomFields.drop1value1'] = "Value 1"; $lang['_CustomFields.drop1value2'] = "Value 2";

Custom Field - Apply To All Clients Something By Default
interfasys replied to 10RUPTiV's topic in Feature Requests
Just to be clear, this will allow us to add custom fields to everybody, not just specific client groups, yeah? -
I don't know what the best solution to avoid the problem would be, but _custom.php should never be overwritten during an upgrade, because we lose all our custom English language definitions that way. Either you teach Blesta how to read another custom file or you provide a _custom.php.example file that you can rename during the installation/upgrade process if the file doesn't exist.

Just highlight the package on which you have the biggest margin with a large "Best value" sticker. That's what the Internet seems to be doing...

That's the first step towards a domain importer
-
I'm willing to test as well

Will there be at least a CSV importer? That way everybody will be able to import data from what they've been using as a replacement solution.
-
Any news on this? It doesn't seem to be coming in 3.3, so any 3rd party plugin would be welcome.

Unless you only get 1st timers, chances are that someone registering for services with you will have domains in his portfolio. In cases where he owns more than a couple, it can be expensive to transfer all of them or for us to manually add each domain in the system. A competitor's billing solution features a handy registrar's import tool and I think it would be great if Blesta could have something similar.

I've just read more about it at: https://code.google.com/p/vqmod/ and I can see the value when testing different modifications or when chaining patches. Seems useful for people used to writing vqmods
