Any ETR on this issue? How complicated is it to resolve?

Enforce Two-Factor Authentication For All Staff Accounts
Fantasma replied to Reeckz's topic in Feature Requests
+1 to forcing 2FA on all accounts but also implementing white list. I would want to whitelist the office IP address, as 2FA not needed on-site -- but anything remote, force 2FA. -
Ability To Move A Service From One Client To Another
Fantasma replied to Squidix Web Hosting's topic in Feature Requests
+1 as well - moving service alone is enough, doesn't have to move invoices in the initial/first release of the function, but would be nice if it could too (as an option when moving service(s), but not required) -
And the reason that a simple option of "Enable In-Browser PDF Loading?" YES or NO Cant just be added in a few minutes and satisfy those who are this adamant about wanting/requiring this feature, is.... what exactly?? *MIND BLOWN* How about I pitch in a $100 USD towards "sponsored development" of this feature and we get it added to the very next Blesta patch/update?
-
Don't know how to tag a user, @xxx doesnt seem to work - see above - can we get this added to the CORE task list plz?
-
Bump - any feedback from Blesta? @paul
-
very big bump - also the ability to add more text content to the bottom left area of the PDF in the "Terms" box would be great. it doesnt move the text data up far enough and ends up cutting off excess data -- even though theres plenty of empty white space left to fit the text in.
-
Can we get a CORE task created for this?

Plus one for this too ... reactivating cancelled services is a necessity

Reporting: How can staff tell when they're losing money on a particular service (e.g. .com domain orders for $5, now costs $8 to resell, is a loss of $3)? How can people tell if they are losing money -now- ? As far as I am aware, Blesta does not have a "Cost" tracking data field per service as it is... ? If Cost tracking is implemented, it should also have the ability to be overridden from whatever is set as the default in the package, when a service is added to a customers account. There may be circumstances that causes cost to be higher for certain customers or certain service additions (where previous services and future services may not have a higher cost, on the same customer account)

A combination of #3 and #4 are the best, because "soft delete" sounds like you cant even edit an active service, if the package has been marked as inactive... which is nuts too. You need to not have them available - they are inactive, done, dead for a reason -- but you need to still be able to modify active services that have them!

Yeah, you, me, every current and past Blesta client - the ones who pay for this software with the hopes of increasing business flexibility, capability, speed, convenience, etc... WE PAY FOR THIS SOFTWARE BECAUSE WE'VE DECIDED THAT WE ARE NOT LAZY AND WANT TO BE LOCKED INTO 1 WAY STREET of business accounting and billing and hey, if you don't fit on this street, screw off, you dont want this software, its too good for you. I'm so un-lazy in fact, I'm thinking about hiring a team of 10 people and using paper notepads and pencils (cant use pens, they will make typos) and just pigeon carrier manually tracked/generated invoices on every day of the month (because I also do not have a singular rebill date -- that would be being lazy!) Wake up and smell the ridiculousness.

Ability To Set An Unpaid Invoice Back To Draft
Fantasma replied to Squidix Web Hosting's topic in Feature Requests
Just delete it and create another. Dont worry about the multiple emails that embarrass you with your customers. -
Why do that, when you can just tell them to use a calculator?
-
because the people who pay for your software are asking for it? how about that it wouldnt effect anyone who didnt *want* or *need* to use it, or is an option that increases flexibility, makes your customers happy, and doesnt cause any negative effects to the rest of the customer base -- simply not enough? is it more of a blind following to a certain code that you will not deviate from because "so and so"?
-
If a package is -inactive- why are we forced to still deal with it in the Add Service drop-down? Its not exactly "inactive" if its in my face every time I add a service... Might as well call it, "Classified as Inactive, you don't have any active services, open invoices, or anything pending related to it - but its still going to be forced on you - not only undeleteable from the system, but also shoved in your face and in your drop downs every chance it gets" Can inactive packages really be inactive and not be seen when trying to Add New Services ... please.
-
Why can't this just be implemented and provide the flexibility instead of arguing about how it was done the first time is the best way because of "so and so" that I keep hearing non-stop? How much actual work would it be code this in... theres already price overrides for other things, I have to imagine its similar.
