Payment url incorrect after migrating Blesta to a new domain
Paul replied to sunrisepro's question in Support
Step 3: Hostname by definition would include anything.domain.tld. If we just said "Domain" I could see how that would be incorrect, which would be different than hostname. What would you suggest we add for more clarity? Blesta detects the hostname during installation automatically. When moving Blesta if the hostname changes it must be updated, which is indicated in the documentation. Not sure what we can do to improve this. Suggestions welcome. -
Payment url incorrect after migrating Blesta to a new domain
Paul replied to sunrisepro's question in Support
It's mentioned in the documentation on Moving Blesta Final Steps > #3 for hostname, and #2 for updating path settings. -
I also suggest running this code to make sure stripe can respond. Must support tls 1.2 https://docs.blesta.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=10551368#Debugging/Tools-CheckPHPCURL,outboundTLSVersion

Hostname is the FQDN, if you are using a subdomain then that must be included. -

YES! Your admin password is now using the new key, however ALL encryption in the database EXCEPT your admin password is now using the old key. You absolutely must restore your system key. After that you'll have to reset your admin password again, but you will be recovering all the other things that are encrypted. If you've sold any services that use encryption, created any clients or admins since you changed your system key those will be broken after you restore your system key. If you don't restore your system key, everything else prior to that will be lost that's encrypted. We will be unable to provide any support whatsoever. If much has changed since you changed your system key, then I would highly recommend restoring from backup prior to your changing the system key. This is a very big deal. Critical!

To force HTTPS (After you've fixed your install per my previous reply) uncomment the lines in the .htaccess file as indicated in the file for https.
-
If you did a fresh install and then overwrote your database, you will have broke your installation. Having to reset your password is a sign that you did this wrong. Please note the big red IMPORTANT box in the documentation Tyson linked at https://docs.blesta.com/display/user/Moving+Blesta There is a very important System key in the config file that MUST match the original database. If you did a new install and overwrote your database you will have permanently and irrecoverably broken all encryption in Blesta. The fact you had to change your admin password is proof of this. Put your original System key back ASAP, or you will have to restore from backup.

Black Friday 2018 - 40% Off Blesta Owned Unbranded, 50% Off Owned Addon Companies
Paul replied to Paul's topic in The Lounge
It should have been unfeatured, done. We'll likely have a new deal for 2019 soon. -
You created a new package, and are now trying to modify existing services to change the module_row_id associated with them in the database? This isn't recommended, any custom service fields the module would normally create will not exist if the module is changing. If the service has been cancelled and the package module needs to change, I would mark the package as inactive and create a new package as Tyson mentioned. No reason I can see to change the package associated with a cancelled service. What are you trying to accomplish?

Your DA server did not respond. Make sure your firewall on your Blesta and DA server has the DA ports open, they are non-standard so they are closed by default on most firewalls. Make sure your settings are correct. Make sure you have CURL SSL. If all the above is fine, make sure your server can negotiate a high enough TLS protocol that your DA server will accept. See https://docs.blesta.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=10551368#Debugging/Tools-CheckPHPCURL,outboundTLSVersion for how to test.
-
Things will work without it, just falls back to slower encryption methods. It's not likely you will notice anything, the most obvious is key generation during initial installation. If you get through installation without a time out, you'll be fine.

It can't connect. If it's not the firewall, you could check CURL SSL, check your settings make sure the port is correct. Make sure there is a path to Plesk from the server you have Blesta on. (Can you ping it?) Does your CURL support modern TLS? If Plesk is only listening on TLS 1.2 and your server can't negotiate 1.2 then it won't be able to connect. There's an example script you can use to test what version of TLS you support, and confirm that CURL SSL is working. See https://docs.blesta.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=10551368#Debugging/Tools-CheckPHPCURL,outboundTLSVersion

It's defined in your module configuration, typically 8443 see https://docs.blesta.com/display/user/Plesk?preview=/2621908/6225988/plesk-server.png See also https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213932745-What-ports-need-to-be-opened-for-all-Plesk-Services-to-work-with-a-firewall for a full list of Plesk ports, 8443 is plesk-https, 8880 is plesk-http. Your server should be able to make egress connections on these ports. These are non-standard ports and would not be open by default on most firewalls.

Your Plesk server is not responding. Check your firewall, make sure the required ports are open on both ends.

It was recently discovered that the price of Licenses had increased.
Paul replied to hejiaqiao's topic in The Lounge
The only change was to Lifetime licenses. It's likely we will have a black friday / cyber monday promotion but we don't have the details worked out yet. -
Never heard of bitwarden, does it support TOTP? Looks like it's compatible with Google Authenticator, and YubiKey per https://help.bitwarden.com/article/setup-two-step-login/ but this may be just to get into bitwarden?

Thanks, CORE-3289

Currently there are no gateway fees, and any gateway can be used for any term that is assigned to an order form. I suppose it would be possible to create packages with yearly terms on a separate order form that has PayPal while packages that only have shorter terms are on another order form without PayPal. We have a task, CORE-2305 that would allow discounts on gateways. Would this accomplish what you're after, by discounting non-PayPal gateways and adding the fee into the price of the Package? Some payment providers have rules against adding fees for using their payment method.

Any admins can subscribe to a BCC email that a client receives. So, yes, you can receive late notices/reminders and invoice emails or whichever you want. Make sure your Staff Group allows access to BCC emails. Settings > System > Staff > Staff Groups: Edit While logged in as the right admin, go to "My Info" > Notices. Check the box next to all the emails you want to receive a copy of via BCC.

It is maintained. The latest version (1.2.0) is included in the latest release of Blesta (4.7.0). Settings > Company > Modules

The simplest way to do this is to piggy back off the print queue feature. To start, you can add existing invoices to the print queue with a query like this: INSERT INTO invoice_delivery (invoice_id, method) SELECT invoices.id, 'paper' FROM invoices WHERE invoices.date_billed >= '2019-07-01 00:00:00' AND invoices.date_billed <= '2019-08-31 23:59:59'; Just change the dates, keeping in mind that the times are in UTC (adjust accordingly), and go to Billing > Print Queue. If you want to show a lot of invoices at a time, rather than the default 20, you can edit config/blesta.php and change: Configure::set('Blesta.results_per_page', 20); To Configure::set('Blesta.results_per_page', 2000); To show 2000 instead of 20. This controls lists throughout Blesta, so you'll definitely want to change it back when you're done. When done downloading the PDF of your invoices, click the button to "Mark as Printed" to remove them from the queue.

Declined means the bank declined the charge. Error means there could have been a problem with the gateway and the charge may otherwise go through. In both cases, the charge did not complete and will not settle. However, there is a major distinction between the two. In the case of a decline, there can be many reasons. Account doesn't have the funds, or the address doesn't match the one provided (AVS mismatch). Whatever the case, you should check Tools > Logs > Gateway to see what the raw response was from the gateway which may give more clarity to the reason.

A Package can be deleted if there are no services that are linked to the Package, which includes cancelled services. This is the case because services have a direct relationship with Packages and a service floating around without a Package could cause issues. The typical recommended action is to mark old Packages as "Inactive" instead of deleting them. But, if you are doing some testing you can delete the services in the services table in the database manually, and then you should be able to delete the Package in the UI. Always use the UI where possible. So, service deleted in database, then delete Package in Blesta. We may change this in the future, but the restriction is there to be safe and we need to spend more time determining whether it's safe to delete a Package that has linked services.
