  1. Ok guys -- We have only 1 officially submitted theme for client, and one for staff. As a result, I have extended the deadline to July 20th. Also, another important change. Each person may list up to THREE client and THREE staff themes. Theme's are easy to create and I know this community has talent!
  2. You only need 1 cron, and can set the schedule for all tasks under Settings > Company > Automation. Invoice generation happens once a day at the time specified in the Automation settings.
  3. Ah, I see. look under plugins/order/language/ and order/lib/order_types/*/language/ It should be in there someplace. It's late and I'm at home so I don't have the exact file for you, but it'll be one of those.
  4. All the email content is either in an email template (Settings > Company > Emails > Email Templates) or under the package welcome email (Packages). When a service is activated, the "Service Creation" email template is sent, which contains the tag ({package.email_html} for HTML section and {package.email_text} for text section). These are pulled from the package welcome email, which is designed to be unique for the package/module being used. If you want to send out an email prior to an order being activated, you might put a blip in the Account Registration email template. When new customers sign up during checkout, this email goes out -- then any service activation emails go out once activated. You could add something to the template like: "If you've ordered any services with us, they'll be activated shortly and you'll receive another email with details at that time."

  7. If the order shows as a pending service on the clients profile page, then the order was accepted and all its waiting for is payment and the cron to activate. If the invoice has been paid, then it's just waiting for the cron. If the cron is running, then check the module log under Tools > Logs > Module, there may be an issue with the system provisioning the service.
  8. Blesta is definitely better, and while their implementation is pretty basic it's still better than what they had. With all the developers they have working on their software now, I think people would expect better. We do more with fewer people, they are chasing their tails.

  11. Yeah, but our flight leaves around 3pm. Afternoon it's all exhibits and we covered the exhibit hall yesterday in like 3 hours.
  12. Yeah it was good. Cody and Tyson wanted to stay in California and work on Blesta 3.3, so I brought my wife. I stopped by the cPanel/WHMCS booth for 10 min or so and talked with Matt and their team. The responsive bootstrap interface is something they pretty much had to do, and it looks alright.. overall probably a net positive for them. Don't forget, we did that already with 3.2 -- they can follow the leader.

We may add the ability to set some rules on usernames for the module, such as the length of the username, etc.. but it's not likely usernames will be able to start with a server identifier, though it's open to discussion. Ultimately I find having usernames that are constructed from the domain are easier to find. If you know the domain, but not the username, you can find the home directory fairly easily. The case can be made that the username is easier for attackers to guess, but I haven't seen a direct correlation yet in brute force logs. Ultimately, you should assume that an attacker knows the username. Set a secure password, use some type of brute force detection with your firewall.

  15. We are likely going to be updating the SolusVM module so that you can use a configurable option for clients to select the OS template. The plus side is that you can enter whatever friendly looking name you want for the templates. The bad side is that you'll have to do so for all the templates you want to be available. Pulling them automatically from SolusVM's API would be the simplest way to ensure they are all available as soon as they are added to SolusVM.. but this should be a good solution in the interim.

  17. The USA beat Ghana yesterday, people were watching it in the hotel here in Miami (At Hostingcon) and it got pretty loud when the USA scored point 2 of the game and won 2-1. Some people on the plane from Los Angeles to Miami were continuing their flights to Brazil for the World Cup. Sounds like fun!
  18. Someone from our team may have more information on this on Monday, but Blesta uses UTF-8. If the characters are not UTF-8 prior to being imported, it may explain the issue.

    Looks really nice! One of the better HTML welcome emails I've seen also, and the login to cPanel button is a nice touch that I'm sure reduces support requests.

  21. It took a while for us to get around to it, unfortunately -- we had lot's to do! The biggest thing that held this back was the addition of configurable options, which allow this module to work as it should. We definitely appreciate any industry recommendations. We think we can do well with GSP's, and have more planned.
  22. Do you mean an auto-save feature? Not necessarily a draft, but auto-save your replies until you submit them? The way I would see this working is if you visit a ticket where there is an auto save, it would appear differently, and allow you to complete the response and submit it.. or cancel and delete it.
  23. It's going to be a while before we release a responsive admin area. I frequently use my iphone 5s to access the admin area, and while some zooming and scrolling is necessary I'm able to get done what I need to. Don't get me wrong, responsive would be nice, but there is a lot happening in the admin interface and it's a huge job. It's just not a big priority at the moment, there's a lot of other things need to happen first.
  24. Check if you have the GD extension in your PHP. TCPDF attempts to use GD to manipulate the logo in some circumstances, if it cannot do so it will not appear.
  25. So they call VPS's droplets? https://developers.digitalocean.com/droplets/ I've noticed quite a few people do have Blesta deployed via DigitalOcean, but realize I know very little about them. What do you like about them? How long have they been around? They seem very popular.
