Thanks evolvewh, appreciate That's great that he is upgrading it, from what I have seen from the new Blesta I love it but want to give clients a good experience and the cpanel extended is a good selling point, purchased it from Module Gardens years ago and was a great addition (my old days of Whmcs). I will definitely move Paul when all is ready with the module. Will keep checking to see when there is an update. Thanks again, great support and service here.2 points

Hopefully the author can correct any issues you're experiencing. Would be a shame if you have to stick with CE!2 points

Updating Support Department Issue
Michael and one other reacted to MineHarvest66 for a question
I got to say I was at quite a garbage provider. When they mentioned that Mailparse didn't "exists" on PHP 5.6 and them saying Blesta 4 was still in BETA that they got serious issues... So when I requested the new one to move my reseller account and fix everything up they did. At least now I am "armed" with better marketing due to their machine being so much cooler AND them allowing more stuffs.2 points -
Hi Guys, can some people show me their nginx configs for blesta? I had it working using the 'try_files $uri' way of doing things, but I reinatlled my server and forgot how I made it work before. I am currently using a method i found on here elsewhere (thanks to that poster), but I would like to get back to the 'try_files $uri' method as it was much cleaner and simpler. Here is what i'm currently using... location / { error_page 404 = @blesta; #IF file doesn't exist log_not_found off; } location ~ \.php$ { try_files $uri =404; fastcgi_split_path_info ^(.+\.php)(/.+)$; fastcgi_connect_timeout 60; fastcgi_send_timeout 180; fastcgi_read_timeout 180; fastcgi_buffer_size 128k; fastcgi_buffers 4 256k; # fastcgi_busy_buffers_size 256k; fastcgi_temp_file_write_size 256k; fastcgi_intercept_errors on; fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:9000; fastcgi_index index.php; include fastcgi_params; fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $document_root$fastcgi_script_name; } # Disallow access to any file with .pdt extension location ~ (\.pdt) { return 403; } if (!-e $request_filename){ rewrite ^(.*)$ /index.php; } #Core rewrite location @blesta { rewrite ^(.*)$/index.php/(.*) /$1 permanent; } } I remember before I was using something a lot simpler, something like... location / { try_files $uri $uri/ then the fastcgi_pass stuff1 point

It was not up to date with v4.0 no, I have updated it just now. http://source-docs.blesta.com and the old docs for 3.6 are archived here http://source-docs.blesta.com/3.6/1 point

Are you trying to use this cPanel extended module? www.blesta.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5552-module-cpanel-extended-module-for-blesta/ He's in the process of updating it all for v4.01 point

oh oops forgot I had installed that, I thought I was still working on a clean blesta install lol. My bad, thanks guys1 point

Thanks Michael and Paul, Yes the cpanel one is just the login (like CE) but the extended really gives you more options but only working with a few options, well for me. Thanks all but think at this time I will stay with CE, I will ask the author about these restrictions, if it can work I will move as really would like these to work. Thanks again1 point

This message is not from Blesta, It's from BlestaCMS. Try to re-issue your BlestaCMS License. @Licensecart can help you.1 point

I wasn't aware of that. You might ask the author about any errors you're getting, maybe they can resolve. It could be a bug with v4 if the module hasn't yet been updated for v4.1 point

Oh yeah. lol.. and Blesta should be in there.1 point

That looks fantastic.1 point

The mysqldump binary must be executable by the cron user (Or web server user if running via Blesta). Also, make sure port 22 egress is open at the firewall. Blesta uses SFTP to securely transfer the backup file.1 point

Under Settings > Company > Modules you can install & configure the cPanel module. (Or extended cpanel if you have that) That's where you add your cPanel/WHM servers and API keys. Add your cPanel/WHM servers to a "Server Group". Then, it's just a matter of creating your cPanel packages and adding the services for billing purposes. When adding services on a client profile page, under Add Service, just uncheck the "Use Module" option. You may want to go back and edit the service, adding the cPanel username and changing the renew date if necessary.1 point

Ok! Thanks for the answers! I'm going to pursue the solution of checking if the invoice lines have service ids and see how it works out.1 point

Pass Additional Values In Service Option Urls
NetworkJack reacted to AllanD for a topic
I am not using the api to update settings in Blesta. I am using the values Posted from Service Options in another api for a chat service. The list of values passed from Blesta when posting to a URL is not consistent and it would be very helpful to always pass the _other information (client_id and/or service_id) like when the "Add" post occurs. This would making looking up corresponding fields (using the Blesta api) simpler and faster.1 point
